BKL TRACK ATTACK PROGRAM
Mission: To provide professional level coaching to motivated BKL (elementary and middle school aged) nordic skiers at a realistic price.
Training: This program is geared toward the committed BKL (elementary and middle school aged) skier who is eager to further develop their technique, both classic and skating, as well as their fitness in a fun group setting. The only criteria are motivation and commitment. Racing is encouraged but not required. As with our Tuesday recreational BKL program, the goal is to learn and improve skills, while having fun and developing a lifelong love for cross country skiing.
When: The dryland program runs for four weeks in November and early December and the on-snow program runs from the first week of January through March.
Where: We meet from 3:30-4:30 at the Trapp Family Lodge Outdoor Center for both.
*****Skiers must provide Their own equipment and have a trail pass.
Coaches: Ryan Kerrigan and Robyn Anderson are the full time coaches. There are also some drop in guest appearances from other VTXC Race Team members.
Program Fee: $50 per training season (dryland or on-snow) in addition to being a Stowe Nordic Outing Club member is required. Please realize that this club, its programs and the post collegiate marathon team would not be possible without charging fees and without the support of SNOC. Thanks for supporting us!
