Mission: To provide professional level coaching to motivated master level athletes during the summer training season. To provide inspired ideas, energy and enthusiasm in a fun, festive group setting. To build relationships between local area athletes in order to enhance the Stowe outdoor enthusiast community and to achieve individual racing and fitness goals.
Training: Training includes a mix of endurance training, technique work, speed, strength, agility and flexibility. All training will be outdoors and most sessions will be held along the Recreation Path using benches, picnic tables and green space for circuit training. Additional training opportunities include mountain biking and yoga. IF YOU CANNOT RUN THAT IS OKAY. However athletes who wish to do some running during training may do so.
Where: Practices are held on the Recreation Path in Stowe every Monday afternoon at 4:00pm and are about an hour and a half in duration depending on weather. We will mostly meet at Chase Park on Luce Hill Road but please join the email list for the most up-to-date information.
When: Mondays 4pm starting June 24th.
Coaches: Ryan Kerrigan and Robyn Anderson will be the full-time coaches. There will be some drop in guest appearances from other members of the VTXC Race Team.
Program Fee: $200 to VTXC for each season of training or $525 for all three seasons.
